Fall has come and is on its way out. It is getting cold here! This Thursday is Thanksgiving so I wanted to do a fun craft with my kids that let us enjoy the last bit of crunchy yellow, orange, and brown autumn leaves. This week we made glitter leaves which Shane was really excited about and Keith can't take his eyes off of. They were really simple and quick and have made our home extra festive.

Glitter
Glue
Leaves
Small Bowl
Water
Paint Brush
Directions
1. In a small bowl combine about 1 tablespoon water with about 2 tablespoons glue. Stir to combine.
2. Using a paint brush, apply a thin layer of glue to the leaves.
3. Sprinkle the glitter on the leaves. Shake excess glitter off the leaves and set to dry overnight.
This craft was so simple and they turned out beautiful! I used a variety of glitter, colors, and textures to mix and match and I think this would be beautiful on pine cones which would transition into winter perfectly.
Happy crafting!
